The Tour of Britain is one of the biggest professional bike races which takes place every year racing the length & breadth of the country with some of the worlds best riders.
This year, the race ended in Manchester on Saturday & we were invited to the finish to watch from the VIP area.
It's always an honour to be invited & we were grateful for the opportunity to watch the race.
We decided to go over to Manchester the night before & stayed at the stunning Dakota hotel. Which is where we started our vlog of the day.
Watch our video from the day here.
From the VIP area, we were able to watch the race on the TV with a glass of fizz before moving outside to see the riders come in. The race itself ended in a sprint finish with the race leader & overall winner Mathieu Van Der Poel winning by a millimetre!
From where we were watching we also had a great view of the podium and saw all the different awards for the final day be given out, including the team prize to Team Ineos.
The top 3 overall were:
1- Mathieu Van Der Poel of Corendon - Circus
2- Matteo Trentin of Mitchelton - Scott
3- Jasper De Buyst of Lotto - Soudal
It really was a fun day out, we love every opportunity to watch live sport. Next stop for us the Cycling Road World Championships which will soon begin in our county of Yorkshire & was the inspiration behind our rainbow collection.

We think is wonderful we have a race which along with the annual Tour de Yorkshire showcases our beautiful country & brings some of the best riders in the world to our shores.
