If you’ve followed us for a while, you’ll know as a company we love both American Football & cycling, from the t-shirts we sell to the images we post on Instagram – Many of them are inspired by two of our favourite sports!
When we saw there was an NFL event plus a bike race happening over the same weekend in London, we knew we had to be there!
The NFL kickoff event took place on Regent Street on Saturday. It was awesome to see the NFL taking over the whole street – From games to play, photo opportunities and live interviews on the main stage.
It was fun to walk around and see so many NFL fans in their different team shirts. One of the best parts of the sport is it doesn’t matter who you support, everyone connects with each other.
This year there are 3 games all taking place in the UK at Wembley stadium. To commemorate each team there was a food zone with choices inspired by all 6 teams. Our co-founder, Keil, was wearing his Chargers colour rush jersey on the day so of course, he went for the LA hotdog!
It was lots of fun to take it all in, ready for the NFL season to kickoff.

The next day was all about cycling with the final stage of the Tour of Britain taking place on a circuit in the centre of London. The finish line was on Regent Street and we were so grateful to receive VIP tickets courtesy of Festina.
The VIP area was just before the finish line and before the race began we saw a number of riders warming up. Once they were off it was a fast circuit taking them about 7-8 minutes to complete each lap. These sorts of races are always great to watch as you get to see the riders lots of times!
As we were in the VIP area there was a TV so we could keep up with what was happening in other parts of the course. The stage was won by Caleb Ewan of Mitchelton-Scott with Julian Alaphilippe of Quick-Step Floors winning the race overall.
It was a great afternoon, soaking up the atmosphere, enjoying a few glasses of bubbly and seeing the race come to an end.
We had an awesome weekend, isn’t it great when things like this come together?
