Have you heard about Courgetti but not sure what it is or how to make it?  Today we’re breaking down courgetti and sharing with you how to make an easy and tasty creamy courgetti bolognese recipe for you to try yourself.

CREAMY COURGETTI BOLOGNAISE

Courgetti is simple, it’s just spiralised courgette!

It’s a great alternative to pasta if you are looking to reduce carbs in your diet. It can also be a simple way to increase your vegetable intake and bulk out your meals.  You can mix it in with your pasta or have it as an additional side.

If you don’t’ want to make your own, you can purchase courgetti from supermarkets or online.  If you’re not sure about it we’d recommend purchasing a pack of premade courgetti to ensure you like it.

If you love courgette or are happy once you’ve tried it the next step is to get a spiraliser.  Spiralisers are used to make the courgette into pasta-like ribbons.  They are easy to use and spiralising the courgette is quick to do.  You can also do extra and keep it in a ziplock bag, it should stay fresh for 3-4 days.

How to cook Courgetti:

We like to fry it up as it’s quick.  Add a teaspoon of either coconut or olive oil to your pan, then fry your courgetti for 3-4 minutes with a dash of garlic granules for extra flavour.  Then your courgetti is ready – Nice and easy!

We love to have it on the side of our creamy bolognese sauce.  Spaghetti (or courgetti) bolognese is one of our regular go-to meals.  Here is our recipe for Creamy Courgetti Bolognese:
